Health Watch
Ledge Light Health District is the host of a cable television program on Comcast - Groton Cable Channel 2, a service of the Groton Public Library and Information Center. This monthly program focuses on current health issues of concern to the community.
The program is hosted by Cindy Barry, Ledge Light Health District's Assistant Director, Health Education and Community Relations. Guests are experts in their field representing a variety of local and state departments and organizations.
Ledge Light Health Watch can be seen on Cable Access Channel 2 at 8 p.m. Monday and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Additional copies for loan are available at Ledge Light Health District or the Groton Public Library.
Health Watch is also available via streaming video through the Groton Municipal Television website! Now you can watch episodes from the comfort of your home or office - at a time that is convenient for you!
Past topics include: Breast Health, Stroke Awareness, Mosquito Control and Tick Borne Disease, The Tools for Schools Program, Communicable Disease, Cardiovascular Disease and Asthma.
